Well, went out to Walmart earlier. Had some Rx's to pick up and got some groceries while I was there. The overall atmosphere was still good. Stopped in at Alkie's too -- don't want to run out of wine lol.
Of course now I have a scratchy throat, but it's allergy season so who tf can even tell anymore; right?
There are over two dozen cases in St. Lawrence County, now, so it's noticeably here. And as tests become more available that will surely increase fast.
There was an article that came out Sunday morning that Cuomo was going to ban combustible tobacco for six weeks starting midnight on Monday, so we stocked Kyle up on cigs. Didn't happen -- but c'est la vie. It's the only 'panic buy' that we've done.
One State Trooper Kyle knows has tested positive, though not sick at this time.
It gets difficult to shut my brain off, frequently. SO grateful for texting and the internet -- though if they didn't exist there's other things to do, but I can't imagine losing these services.
It's just really difficult to focus and settle, right now. The anticipation mixed with boredom is a killer. I can understand why some people are just going about their lives. They're nuts, and they're putting people in danger, but I totally get it.
